Beware! Guard Dog (Damien Dread's Challenge)

Another night of barking, great. But this time she heard something different. There really is something out there. She turned off the lights and the tv and listened. She could hear heavy breathing, or was it? Alone, in the middle of nowhere, she was an easy target. Her adrenaline started pumping. Quietly, she reached for her new chainsaw. Gathered up lighter fluid and matches. As sounds of an intruder grew more evident, wielding her saw, she snuck out the back door and crept up behind him...

Another decent little snapshot. As DD said I'd also like to see a little more build to this, but it has an excellent basis.

Hmmm. You had a good concept here. I feel that you should've build it up some more. The tension falls short in the end.
All in all, a good story.
