first kiss
First kiss
Love's first kiss, a tender moment of stolen bliss
You're racing heart, a throbbing beat
You're all a tingle right down to your feet
The arms entwine, you smell his breath
You tremble and wait, impatiently anticipate
The moment arrives, in a blink it's gone
But the memory lingers, like ripples on a still lake
Hesitant you linger, not wanting the moment to break
The heat is still there, like a moment of stolen bliss.
