Thirsty Desert

I can’t believe he’s betrayed me.

He has hurt me immensely.

The person that I completely gave my heart to is the one who ruined my world.

I tasted the wine of love upon my lips.

I held happiness in my hands.

And now I am as barren and desolate as a thirsty desert.

Short and sweet, cuts right to the raw emotion.
