She couldn't have

Her essence defiled while vagrants ran wild,
and tripped, stomped, kicked her stubborn straight smile,
Some cried at the gathering,
a friend will be missed,
every black jacket buttoned tight,
the shortage wasn't in the roses.

Feed that addiction
Kill the affliction

lick the torn skin and the bruises around edges,
Someone was lying in wait eyes open over pale lit midnight hedges, this was not tragedy but murder at a time when murder was the last thing on mind.

Attempted failure
Delivery is suspended

Pending investigation the mystery turned to citizen mentality, they will find out who did that and pay him accordingly,
strongly, in packs like wolves they set across the neighborhood
in sweaters ski masks and black coats,
on the way to a secret that no man had ever known

In a hollow bored tree it seemed a secret was stuffed wrapped in flowers and such, waiting to be stumbled upon. A note after read spread cries of dread with guilt as a chaser the world did waver and almost collapse had it not been for the ending.

Remove the wrapping,
breath and read what happens.

Friends andd family I’ve set this up, my time spent here was time enough to understand the hearts of man and woman and child alike. You go to war and you kill adam’s deciples, pupils of his child hold that memory forever, and you come back and drink and your family does think that doing this creates heroes. It makes monsters insatiable desires to do the same thing over again, If I were them I’d crawl out of my skin and beg for divine forgiveness. I shall not for it will happen again, history repeats and is full of the sins of thousands …... I set this all up to escape.

Dance in heaven
all is forgiven

This is a wonderful poem. It's all to true. Keep it up, your great at expressing emotion in your work.

The only thing I found for the editing end of things is, where you say "Friends andd Family..."

This is fantastic, and I can hear someone before a mic flowing with rhythm.

I love the narrative quality of this. I can't wait to read your short stories.
