Standing on the Corner

I stand here on the corner
lights all around
there's a buzzing sound
lipstick smeared mouth
black eyes crying
blood tears
as the rain comes down
i look to find you
nowhere and alone
i watch nothing
waiting for you
and wishing on that one star
shining bright
through the haze of disgust
what did i do
where did i go
standing on the corner
