Cross Hope Dreams

Why, if so real you really are, do you watch a world explode? If that is what the job entails, sign me up. I'm great at watching people die, hate, love, hurt, whine, want, lie, betray, the list rolls on into eternity and you supposedly wrote it, so I won't ramble any longer. I'm just offering a useful set of eyes and hands to create what you guide against, yet let happen day in, day out. Freedom by escaping you is the only way. You've lead far too many wars, sending sane men into hopeless pitfalls of angelic grandeur, emblazoned with your holy crown of self redemption. Extricating all that they have done, simple words of remorse whispered to a non existent entity frees all to slip happily into darkness. Only to have the crutch pulled from them as they cross the threshold of decay, fertilization to a dying world. Freedom of body and mind must be justified in death to be comprehended while living. Fear and terror tactics placed in soft minds, molded beyond repair. Wave after wave of hate mongers. Why?

ah yes Atheism, it is the only way; the true way, now let's get together brother, unite the world undeer the guidance of someone we'll pick at will, say Nietzsche, and round up the non non-believers and lock 'em in cages, treat 'em like animals, torture them until they beg for death and at that point offer them freedom, at the small price of forsaking previous beliefs they used to get by and base their morals and live their life with purpose and comfort, all they'll have to do is live by a specific guidline we set out for them and no questions asked or we'll fuckin kill them. let's call it the Atheist Inquisition!... oh damn, someone already did a similar thing hey? damn. oh wait it actually worked for them didn't it? heck let's do it then.
I'm not too great an appreciater of prose poetry, so what weight do my comments have?
ahh, I feel like a nice plump, rounded argument against religion is made by this short piece, and i like that. too many people lose their convictions because they don't beef up their arguments properly.
