Vixen

Pathetic substitute for love
Stumbling gracefully out from under her tousled hair
Lips turned up with seductive invitations
Dropping hands to her sides slowly
In unison with the dropping of her dress onto the floor
Her body crooked with desire
Fingers finding their way roughly onto places meant simply for gentle caresses
Kisses falling haphazardly in a trail over silk and porcelain
Smooth temptress she is
Hand tipping up the volume
Heavy as her breathing
Soft as her guilty moans
Crawling beneath the blankets to hide her eyes from the rising sun
She's lost to lust
Another cigarette slowly burning with the ash blowing in the wind
Eyes closed
Fingers crossed
Hoping in the morning there won't be too many bruised egos on the floor
Along side the empty bottles laying on their sides beside the candy coated lies spilt
Weaved in and out between sighs of satisfaction
The phone rings finding the wrong notes
Next to a simple note signed sweetly
"Yours" and a poisoned set of lips in vanishing red
