Truth
She says, "Tonight looks like a wonderful night to die."
With a glance behind her just before she steps out of the sky
Her eyes speak in volumes, echoing the image of love lost
A halo tips and turns around her heavy hearted head, it spins
Her thoughts a colliding whirlwind of desires, emotions, dreams
Feet sifting through clouds, through sand, dipping into oceans
Into thunderstorms, catching lightning in her hair, stars that shine
Drinking raindrops through her hands, mouth still but ever moving
Singing lullabies and speaking lies, truth and making promises
To be broken, dashed on the rocks, as a ship is dashed into the sea
Sinking, drowning in misery or in sunlight, whispering of ghosts
She says, "But Heaven won't have me…" tearing off her wings
