Island 6 The Burning Letter

Island 6
The Burning Letter
Hen hurried along through the worn path, her feet moving swiftly. She knew something was wrong with Nenda. The look on her face tore at Hen. Glancing up she stood before her small home. Slowly she opened the door, peaking before going in. Lighting a candle she moved her veil over to see. Eyes closed she breathed a sigh of relief. Walking in, her home appeared untouched and perfect. Setting the candle down, she closed her eyes once more. Feeling the intense comfort of her home she laid down. Opening her eyes revealed more than her home.
The candle fell, her eyes full of tears.
She whispered the word,
“Fire.”
