Just close your eyes, just shut them tight, and we'll be on our way.
Just close your eyes, just shut them tight, and we'll fly.
But these thorns, they tear into the flesh,
deep cuts and scares are all that we will ever own.
You wear them well.
It feels strange, and somehow it won't do.
Oh this life, this life is mine.
Only mine.
SO TAKE ME NOW, TAKE ME NOW, JUST TAKE ME NOW.
If we only could see the morning through,
thousand miles would seem so small.
I would hold you in my arms till dusk,
and we'll ask the sun for more.
I'll be there with you always,
no matter where we are.
I'll cross these seas just to see,
your eyes once more.
SO TAKE ME NOW, TAKE ME NOW, JUST TAKE ME NOW.
Just take me now.
SHOW ME A LIFE WHERE WE CAN STAND,
ABOVE ALL THESE JOKERS NOW.
WE'LL SHOW THEM HOW TO LOVE.
AND LAUGH THEM OFF AGAIN.
I'M STILL YOURS FOREVER MORE,
ALWAYS, AND FOREVER.
SO TAKE ME NOW, TAKE ME NOW, JUST TAKE ME NOW.
SO TAKE ME NOW, TAKE ME NOW, JUST TAKE ME NOW.
