The Whore
We can sail to the horizon
but only to the horizon
and come right back
for wine and cheese
we’ll follow the sun and turn back before
we fall off the edge of the earth
and get eaten whole by an elephant
We’ll have to leave soon
it’s already noon
and I get cranky without my
seven o’clock glass of wine.
Just to the horizon, you promised
we’d turn around
where the sun kisses the ocean and sky
like a two-timing whore.

| I think I'll try to shorten it, I want it to be a little thing, a blimp that leaves people questioning. |

and get eaten whole by an elephant
//youre a smart woman, one can see it all through this.
this one might be chopped to 60 or 70 words, OR expanded. it does feel like it could be tightened up a bit.

| Scratching my head for the message, but the delivery, once again, is fantastic! |

Worth reading just for the last line.. where the sun kisses the ocean and sky
like a two-timing whore.
