I was sleeping in my ninth grade Lit. class when this poem jumped up outta no where. I wonder if it was channeled.

I’ve painted the world today
And made the pains of others lighter
I’ve painted the world today
And made the lives of others brighter
When faith is frail
And hope is thin
I help others discover
The love they feel within
When times are dark
And no light gleams
I help others recover
All of their lost dreams
A symphony of color
Of a painting in the soul
Colors of one’s own uniqueness
Make the painting whole
When you feel that you have won
Know then that you are winning
Believing in what you want
There is no such thing as sinning
The key to finding the future
Is not hidden in the skies
The true power often sleeps
In the place of where your courage lies
I’ve painted the world today
And everyone’s gained a new start
I’ve painted the world today
And spread the warmth that comes from every heart
