Love is For the Weak

I know not how to love
Nor do I wish to ever do so
For it is a sign for the Weak
Weakness, yes, I know

But how do I describe
These, feelings, deep within?
Maybe Love isn’t so bad?
What reason have I for sin?

To have been lost in darkness
For many many years
I know the pain, the hurt
The reason for the tears

I show my pain to no one
They do not understand me!
So let my cries be nothing but whispers
Drowned out by the crying of the sea

Love is for the weak
It isn’t meant for me
Yet these feelings that I get
Is Love as bad as it appears to be?

But now that I’ve met you
My views are more obscured
Help me find the cause of this ‘sickness’
And heal me so I’m cured

I cannot deny this excitement
These feelings any longer
If Love is for the Weak
Then why do your words make me stronger?

Enough of this foolishness!
I guess I’ll move along
Love, is all right now
It is for the Weak, and for the Strong
