TABLE OF MULTIPLICATION
Life is a table
Of multiplication:
There's dizziness
Of love
And pure elation.
We'll meet,
My dear,
As two by two
It's clear!
When I hear with my heart -
That's ticking
Barely
Your mincing up to me,
So vividly, so fairly...
You're in a hurry.
Very near.
You're here!
Still it is April,
We're shined by the sunrise,
Joy
Is a long
And inconsistent fable,
Spring sings
Almost not staring in the table
With music lines
Of words,
And hair,
And eyes.
But how perfidious
Are autumnal kicks -
We're muffled up in wool,
Due to that gloomy heaven,
Being very far
From mere five by seven,
With long ago
Forgotten three by six.
