I hide my feelings behind obstacles
The ones that I put in my way
For the purpose of hiding
My feelings away

I make believe that I am another
I believe that is so
One knows the truth
The other only knows

There was another time
I was there for awhile
I can never go back
If I do I may fall

So over and over
I laugh, smile and hide
I open the doors to the closets
But I never step inside
