Draco's Ballad

Let me tell you about my life,
Let me tell you what I've seen,
Let me tell you of the vow I made long ago,
Let me tell you of the black flame,
Let me tell you of my curse,
Let me tell you why.

This curse has been laid on me,
Takes more than forgiveness to break free,
My heart is filled with guilt,
I pay for the sins of my past with my soul.
Heaven doesn't want me,
Hell can't stand me,
Living is my purgatory,
Death is what I long for.

Blood covers my hands all around,
Blood of an innocent life,
Broke a promise to him I did,
I vowed to keep him safe.
People all over hate and fear me,
They all try to kill me when they see,
Self defense murder I must commit,
To preserve this endless life.

Inside me he lies,
Inside the deep part of my mind,
He is the dark side of my soul,
Drakken is his name.
His power comes from the Black Flame
That sleeps within my right arm,
When his darkness takes over me
I lose all my sanity.

One day I will break the curse,
I swear on an oath of blood,
I shall be free from this curse
That was born from my Black Flame.
