dank and dark
wetness plays
drip drop drip
all the day
cavernous veins
and pompous heart
generous pains
living away
unsung art
the bard who sings
sings alone
without a care
and none for him
but the singer of hearts
and none shall win
bloody stalagmites
breaking bones
unburied heroes
in the shadow
dank and dark
all the hearts play
singing us songs
and writing us odes
until the pen drops
drip drop drip
