What we feel

Walking outside
Washing through the crowds
Memories of you
My thoughts cry
Just like clouds
Standing, arms open wide
As the rain covers me
Mind is cluttered
Scattered images of you
Desperate to hide
From deep inside
Yearnings stretching for what we all want
Our loneliness begins to crawl
We felt
What we had
What we want back
But never will
The pain ignites
Cutting through open wounds
Like a knife ablaze
Our hearts are consumed
And never heal
