Two old friends

Filled and fleeting
That first high of the day
The clouds are below us now
Shook the hand of the moon
To that place we will soon come
Then an old familiar face
Greeting and guided
Remembered high
Relaxed and revealing times
Oh, but now I’m itching
It won’t stop
Why?
A new spot every second
Ah, fingers preciously placed
When that itch is gone
So is my inebriation
My happy feeling
Calm and sedated
Let’s do this again
I tell my two old friends
As we part our separate ways.
