Sibling pain

I ran with legs stretched carrying
Passion consumed with duty
Knowing
Had to be done
My sister I had gone to get
Across the bright green field
Littered with white, I think
Joyful sounds I could hear
As my limbs held me nearing
My first sight
What my eyes did see
My sibling carried on with a neighbor
Laughter abound
Parallel shattering glass
I stood in the way
And shouted before the laughs
Stubborn replies
Angry words
Sharp jutting pain
Red flowing
Then only black
And that was that

my sister threw a rock at my head when i was two i had to have alot of stiches because of it. i find its helpful to write about what memories you have, it helps you relive them, and keeps the memory of them alive, even after the scars heal, fade and are nearly gone.
