The Rain
The sky is dark
Reflection of clouds
Streams of light
Shocking noise
Water drenches
A sea falls from the sky
It rains

Your poem is simple, but invokes various emotions to surface in the reader. I think it is quite beautiful

I like this, it's strong and thoughtful, my personal opinion - Mother Nature... I like what she does and the way she does it. It's interesting to look at poems with the same or familiar titles, I have one here simply called Rain, you might want to chance a look.

sorry it took me so long to get back to you all,not that religion has anything to do with this poem, just an observation really, i dont know how anyone could deny the existance of some higher power/s whatever you may call it/they theres something unmistakably amazing about the moment before it rains, the static in the air, the tension, the beauty of the rolling sky as it twist and turns violently and smooth. like an orchistra conducted by some unseen force. thank you all for reading. best of wishes, patrick.

Beautiful-the imagery is great-it reminds me of the pics I love taking where light rays are peeking through those lovely reflective clouds-just before the bottom falls out.

A very strong & simple piece! We've all probably seen a rain poem or two, but your choice of what images to draw upon were very different. I really like this poem!
