Ode to Valerie

this is where you
said
life is just death
but brighter
you left me to
bleed
to seep into your
hateful heart
and burn away your cancer
even
I
delightful as I am
can not break
under you
can not take
from you
you are a disease
to be cut away
burnt and thrown away
you are nothing
more than a scab
to be picked and flicked
into the filth
you are nothing more
than a scar
to be ashamed of
you are nothing but
a man

I especially like the line "life is just death
but brighter".

it's funny -- every time i think of valerie solanas that i hear 'of walking abortion' by the manics. this packs the punch of the SCUM manifesto and the manics. like being glassed and having salt rubbed in the wounds.
