Only Yourself, No One Else
I guess things just don't always work out the way you thought
And the one you may have thought would be there
Is really the one who turned around and went back.
I suppose you can't blame him
You were selfish
You were too selfish to see what was there
And you missed it
You missed it for good.
And have no one to blame, but yourself.
You had it.
Why didn't you take it?
Why didn't you see it?
You're so naïve.
You were too into yourself.
Why did you think you would have it at the end?
You should know better than that.
You should know better than this.
You're selfish.
He deserves better.
And your worst nightmare has come true.
He's realized that too.

| Good one, like when you don't realize what you have until it's gone... |

| you are right, some evil girls love to have you in their tiny little boxes, they think they can take you out of it anytime they want... some stay, some others don´t, it´s something decided by love . |

i dont believe that your'e a bird.
you're a lad.
If you was a bird You'd be heavy handed with the castration metaphors. But if you are a bird.
a wise old bird you are
Good giggle at your poem.
Good for a laugh and a read.
cant believe it though,
A bird would never admit something like that outside of her own skull.
Its the first poem ive read by a bird so far that openly admits that its her own fault.
(unless you're being sarky) hope not.
Maybe you'll start a trend
who knows? |
