Storm

A storm is brewing
A life turned
upside down.
A storm is brewing
the danger, just beginning
fear must subside.
A storm is brewing
there's nowhere left
to hide.
A storm is brewing
deep inside.
Ride the storm
to the end
life starts anew.

I like the directness of your work.
Are you familiar with Holly Near? She has a song "My man's been laid off" "got trouble, got trouble, my man's been laid off, got trouble tonight." Storm work.

It's the fact that everyone is besieged at one time or another (or repeatedly) that informs me assures me that we will be reborn and reborn ("life starts anew"). I've met a women who have lost their children ... she is upright, sober, but still loving and still able to get out of herself. Her tragedy has made a model of character out of her. You won't have to deal with that particular trial, but you will have your share. You will emerge with a soft smile and a smile of caring for those around you.
