Winter Fire
Whatever I am I am
Whatever I’ll be I’ll be
The ocean and the surf
Cascading down on me
Whenever I write I bleed
Whatever I love I kill
To make it just my own
Upon the mantle still
Dripping down the bricks
Into the flaming ire
Whatever I am now burns
Into this winter fire
