Another year has gone by
Time to reflect has arrived
I have made my mistakes
I hold plenty of regrets
I need this New Year to be new
A chance to make it right
A chance to feel content

I will not look back
I will be focused on what lies ahead
Freedom will come
The chains will finally be broken
I will be free

The past will stay where it belongs
I will not ponder on what could have been
The ghost in my life will be damned
I will declare my own victory

Shadows will now be clear
Dreams will come to life
I will hold my own destiny
I will learn to live

My new year will be innovative
Filled with happiness
Love, Peace and Satisfaction

This will be my new year.
To you my friend I wish the same.
