Emptiness
Youth-an empty space,
No mawkish stuff
Just wild dreams,
Which make it through the night
And fade away in the day’s light.
Volcano lava flowing through my veins,
Which cools off when reaching reality.
An old mind
In a young body,
The lethal dilemma.
There’s so much to live
But I am trapped
By my own rules,
My fears.
The mirror reveals a different person
From the one I sketched in my mind.
Trying to find my way
In this bustling world,
I forgot to enjoy
What’s supposed to be
The best time of my life.
A question pops up:
Will I find it?
