Speed Demon - Wee Challenge #22
It had cleaned the kitchen, washed the car, fed the kids and got them ready for school, made lunch, mown the lawn and taken out the rubbish.
As it turned its unblinking red eyes to face her and revved its powerful engine, she realised that for once the guys on the info-mercial weren’t exaggerating.
The Speed Demon made mums dispensable.

That was fun. I laughed when I read Ash's comment 'I thought of something naughty.' The true 'Stepford' wife and mom are still in the distant future (I hope).
Thanks |

Am I weird that when I saw the "mums dispensible" thing, the first picture in my head was of the flowers? Probably.
Cute little bit, but I'm more interested in the story behind and forward of this one. Why'd she buy it in the first place? Did she buy it? Is her husband trying to get rid of her? What's going to happen after she realizes this? Hmmm . . . |
