mr wolf and the ignorant

I lay doggo
in the dark
as a doddering fat fool
stuttered by
unaware of what lay on
in the dark
staggering foolishly
onto doom's path

The stillness
-it seems-
will cool his drunken mind,
'I am king',
I hear him sing
'No harm can come to kings',
is what he thinks.

In anger
suddenly i leap
on the fool's back
bringing his lullaby
to an abrupt crack.

My glinting nail
runs his throat by
and before his
breathe leaves him
I hear him cry:
'Who are you?..
Who are you that kills so well?'
I hear him ask

A smile creeps up
on my lips
'And when you get to hell
perform thee this task:
tell them that your
Ignorance
has cost you
your life'
was my reply
in the dark.

This is very dark but I like it. It's unique and interesting, great work.

Interesting tale. I like the sentiment and the darkness though the inconsistent rhyme was a bit distracting. Just a bit off setting for me.
