Broken Wings

The sun in rising,

on this day,

I wish I had never woke

up from the dream I

had last night.

The light in my soul

is dimming and my love

for you is fading,

Whose to say we wont end up

alone, would you even care

if I laid here on my back

tell the storm blew past.

Im trying to fly away

from this pain, but I cant

seem to get there on these

broken wings, calling for someone

to come and lift me up

but no one hears my crys

in this night.

The world turning black,

it has no peace at all

will you leave me here with all

this sorrow.

I try to fly away,

from my painfull past

but I cant get away

with these broken wings,

so wont you come again,

and lift me higher,

can you mend

a broken home

or well you just leave us all alone.

On these broken wings

scarred by the sun,

wishing to have peace,

will you come and mend my broken wings,

so I can fly away, will you take my higher

away from all this pain?

I know where this is coming from. Straight from the heart. That's what matters. Keep on writing.

Alrighty...I suggest you should edit your poem, first by correcting your spelling; There are several spelling "errors" such as: painfull,(till-tell), etc...
Also, you should condense some of your scentences by avoiding words such as: had, and, has.As these tempt to clutter your Stanzas.(An alternative soution towards providing the same effect would porbably be the use of semicolons).
