Poetry

Honestly I’m no songster
Guitar, Pianos and Drums I don’t care for.
When depression steeps in the only thing
Is poetry that seems lovely.

Opening up the page
The words seem to fly upon the stage
And a performance I do see
Words do make me happy.

Every letter makes a different move
And they all seem to fill the empty groves
Emily Dickerson wrote
"There is no frigate like a book"

But as far as I can see
There is no better love than poetry.

I like poetry too, but I also like all the rest.

I like the message, but perhaps not the way you presented it.

I think the rhyme detracts from it.
Just let the words come.

I love the first two lines

Emily Dickerson is (maybe) Emily Dickinson
