Razor

Razor:
Through your words and misleading actions,
You have crafted a fine Razor of perfection,
And placed it before me.
I grasp it with my lifeless fingers and allow it to eat my flesh.
With a self satisfying smile I present my bleeding arms,
In all their magnificence, before you once more.
And again you foolishly turn away.
That's right look away like you always do.
This is you... my Sweetest Self Detriment.
This is me... bleeding out.
(Through your words and misleading actions,)
You run from your haunted past.
Hide from your shadowed future.
And kill your enchanting present.
This is you... my Sweetest Self Detriment.
(You have crafted a fine Razor of perfection,)
I have accepted my misfortunate past.
And now I withdrawal from you, My Future.
I cut away, now.
This is me... bleeding out.
(And placed it before me.)
If you could only give me back whats no longer yours to hold.
If you could only see.
(Were my silent screams not loud enough?)
If you would only try.
(Or did they just go unnoticed again?)
You could have stopped me, instead of handing me the Razor.
(Could you for once show some emotion?)
You could have stopped me from bleeding out.
(But wait... that's not you... that's me.)
(Through your words and misleading actions,)
Sitting back I close my eyes.
(You have crafted a fine Razor of perfection,)
As I take it all in and rest.
(And placed it before me.)
As I lay here alone.
Bleeding on myself.
I can't help but think which is worse,
Me, bleeding myself dry to end my misery,
Or you, bleeding my soul empty to ease you dark divergence.
The pain.
The pain.
Oh, the pain.
And at the end of it all,
We will all realize the truth as I do.
We only hurt ourselves.
I am bleeding myself dry
As you bleed my soul empty.
The pain.
The pain.
Oh, the pain.
And at the end of it all,
We will all realize the truth as I do.
We only hurt ourselves.
This is you... my Sweetest Self Detriment.
And this is me... facing our Fate.
Alone.
Bleeding out
Alone.
Without you I do not exist.
Through your words and misleading actions,
You have crafted a fine Razor of perfection,
And placed it before me.
