Wake Young Warrior
Wake young warrior greet the morning light,
Beastly howls of night wane to dry complaint;
Rise, rise: Carpe Diem yours by right.
Drunkards slur, stagger, infer slight,
Just actions sort trew from taint
Wake young warrior greet the morning light.
Ill fortune afflicts the dull and the bright,
Cities twinned, bridged with sacred paint;
Rise, rise: Carpe Diem yours by right.
Seeking moral balance twixt day and night,
Precious time, vernal equinox to sinner and saint
Wake young warrior greet the morning light.
Dies are cast as cords are sliced,
Genetic determined tho fate uncertain;
Rise, rise: Carpe Diem yours by right.
Life renews from ashed fright,
Use talents well, regret only wasted feint
Wake young warrior greet the morning light.
Rise, rise: Carpe Diem yours by right.
