From Nitrogen to Oxygen

I saw nothing to live for
This was before my awakening.
Before I found the exit door.
Bloody wrists & hands were my escape
I did it all without doubt, there was nothing to debate.
Time moved on & feelings grew strong
Finally my plan set, I would have nothing to regret.
My plan lingered on my lips as I held my phone at my finger tips.
I had finally told, I felt so bold.
Sent to an unfamiliar place
Tears stream down my face.
There I saw I that could not be bared
I could really handle.
A light had been held to my candle.
I made a new love at that place.
One that would last forever
No matter how much we had to endeavor.
I saw all who really cared
and all of this could be bared.
I'm getting better now.
I'm trying to break my silence vow
I'm taking baby steps forward
I see I so have something to look toward.
My candle of hope
I know my family, friends, & love are at the end of these rope.
From nitrogen to oxygen
Finally I want to live again
