Blood to Saline
All this anger is tearing me up
It's all made me toughen up.
It's rare to see a smile grace my face.
All this hate didn't come at such a slow pace.
Hurt in so many ways at such a young age.
Then it seemed inside me a war began to wage.
Soon I grew stronger, I was doing better.
Soon flashbacks came like a nasty batch of weather.
From a little child forced to be a young lady, born to be wild.
My tears from saline to blood.
Then another treacherous act committed by another man
pushed me back in the mud.
Distressed & Distraught I forgot & gave up.
Finally I went back & fought
I found my joy again
and life had begun again.
From blood to saline
I can live again
