Peace in a Crowded Place

With the passing of time wounds are supposed to heal.
After a lot of thought, maybe it wasn't a wound you left.
Maybe it was a chance to assure we would be together again.
With out you by my side all I feel is lonliness in a crowded place.
Weak without you, wrong decisions were made.
Prices are high and happiness evasive.
You were the strength we needed.
With you different paths would have been chosen.
My heart still aches and the pain never lessens.
After all these years without you by my side all I feel is lonliness in a crowded place.
But with the new morning comes reality.
The deep lonliness and river of tears because you're not here will be our stepping stone to heaven, to have you once again by my side forever.
I will feel peace in a crowded place.
