If You Loved Me

If you loved me as I love you,
You’d never ever make me blue,
You’d never ever make me cry,
Or watch the tears fall from my eyes.
If you loved me as I love you,
You would hold me tight from morn till night.
And if you love me as I love you,
Prove it if you can,
Stand up and be a man.
I really love you a whole lot,
So it’s going to take all you got,
I hope you’re ready I hope your set,
Cause baby I mean every word of it.
