Was it me or was it you?
Oh how I wish I knew.
Once you said you were my friend,
You said our friendship would never end.
We did everything together,
On sunny days and stormy weather.
You mad me laugh, you made me cry,
Then one day you said goodbye.
The money that you came into,
Meant that our friendship was through.
I guess now you are just a memory,
No more will your face I see.
Now when I think about those years,
My eyes do not shed any tears.
