My life with you has been pretty rough,
It was all up hill and pretty tough,
But as the years went slowly by,
Things got better we really tried,
We stayed together through thick and thin,
When times were hard we didn't give in,
We had a lot of ups and downs,
But through it all we made our rounds,
Now as we sit and watch our grankids play,
We can sit and think of those hard days,
We can sit and think of those hard times,
And be glad they're over, beacause now the sun shines.
