In from the Cold (Tanka Challenge)
Hot water thaw out
These bones to molten lava
Massage these muscles
They're aching from deep within
An honest days work is done

| No jets here Janyce. I'm in the same boat as you. There's never quite enough hot water. The key is to turn off the faucet befor it goes cold on you. Thanks for reading, D. |

Do you have jets in that tub?
Made me a little jealous-I only have a twenty gallon hot water heater.
Great Tanka. |

| Dante, I can sure relate to this, ol’ buddy. Nothing like a good hot bath after a physical day of labor, is there? Great job! |

I like the visuals that come with L2, I can see the steam rising up, can almost hear the "ahh" coming from the muscles as they finally relax. It is an honest and real piece, and so the last line is very fitting. Well done.
happy writings. |
