All Alone

As I sit here all alone,
In my cozy little home,
All my thoughts I ponder,
And it makes me start to wonder,
How did I get this far in life,
First a child then a wife,
Children I had three,
That was good enough for me,
Now a grandmother of ten,
I wish I could start all over again,
If I knew then what I know now,
My life would be different somehow,
But the future is not ours to see,
What comes next will just be,
If I could change my life,
I would not have become a wife,
At such an early age ,
I would have waited until I could turn the page,
I love the way things turned out,
My life is good there is no doubt,
That’s why I sit here all alone,
In my cozy little home.
