Through My Eyes

The door closes behind you
I still feel your lips on mine
from the good bye kiss you left behind

To be looking on, you think nothing is wrong
But through my eyes you would realize

I hold my breath waiting for you to come back

You look at me and smile and I'm knowing all the while
your words aren't true
My heart is so blue

I wanted so much to believe
but the facts are there and
I can no longer be deceived

You took a lifetime of true love and
traded it for a few minutes of fun
The damage can never be undone

To be looking on, you think nothing is wrong
But through my eyes you would realize
