WITH THE VOICE OF THE MASSES

WITH THE VOICE OF THE MASSES:-
How could things ever go right?
Cruelty is all we fight.
Poets had been executed for voicing out their minds.
This at a juncture, I don't care.
For I cried with the voice of the masses.

How could things ever go right?
When Soul endangers the other.
When massacre, killing and murder are encouraged.
When destruction of all sort is praised.
When struggle for freedom is in vain, right to life and property for that matter.

How could things ever go right?
When our constitution is abused.
When attempts and abetments to do wrong were planned.
Oh, oh, oh! The cries of the masses.
Who would be at our aid?

How could things ever go right?
We shed tears to which you ignore.
We cried to which you didn't listen.
We lived and longed in sadness.
We are preys of our own predators, the wondering captives.

How could things ever go right?
We're no longer safe in our own birthplace, where we're born and grown.
We dwell in fear nights and days.
We're praying only to the Creator, in Whose Hands our soul vest in.
Hoping that things will soon be alright.
