Cry for Freedom

How can we correct this impoverished country?
With the stand we have taken.
With all that we see
Can we be mistaken?
Do we dare to call upon our leaders.
For the Constitutional rights
Do we fight for our freedoms
When we cry out at night?
Can we watch and stand by
As leaders call their battle cry
Freedom, Liberty the right to speak
Come and stand with me.
Calling upon the leadership
To name why and what they do
If this was personal
We would sue.
Yet it is the leaders in our nation
We call upon for salvation
Cry and scream for their beliefs
Yet no stands up for the person on the street
How can we watch with out question
End this time of supplication.
Reality is going to set in
So we will pay the price.
Stand and fight for liberty
Stand for all to see
Start your revolution
Fight and be free.
