She Dreams of Demon Arctos *The Poem*

Everywhere she looks
she sees maniacal silver haired teddy bears;

some dance erratically;
their ears replaced by two-inch bone horns;

some leak synthetic innards from wounds inflicted by
the demon teddies;

some sit in the corner and pull at their furry parts, while still others crowd the young girl telling her to wake up.

Nightmares can prove tricky when you're young
and being weaned from security dreams.

I can totally relate to this. Anything sitting up in my room staring at me would freak me out. I love how original this is. No one can ever copy this. You've set a standard for phobia poems.

Christopher...
I could imagine this girl growing up to have a teddy bear phobia, moving on to a sad clown fetish. Poor girl... Nice work. Love the originality of the piece. :)
