As I Listen

As I listen I hear a sound
As I listen the sound I hear becomes clearer
As I listen I hear a sorrowful song As I listen to the song I almost cry because it makes my think of you and me and us falling apart
The more I listen the further I fall into a dream
I see us dancing around and around a dance floor
You holding me close to you never wanting to let me go Then right before you kiss me the music ends and I come back to reality and I’m alone so once again
I just listen and as I listen I hear a soft voice say my name
And as I turn to see who it is I hear the voice say I Love You
Then when I turn around I find you standing there with arms wide open and a smile on your face
