A Recipe for Disaster
BOOM!
BANG!
CRASH!
Pots and pans mix the primordial soup.
Beings roam the globe,
slurping
and
slouching
when needed.
BOOM!
BANG!
CRASH!
Oh well, we hardly knew ye’.
Dinosaurs march the planet.
Dinosaurs develop,
Mature,
Command.
BOOM!
BANG!
CRASH!
They’re gone now, too.
Mammals come forth
tail lost,
follicles shed,
thumb opposable.
BOOM!
BANG!
CRASH!
Man is made.
BOOM!
BANG!
CRASH!
More Men are made.
Man treads his grounds,
Man develops,
Matures,
Advances...
Oops, too far.
Now Man argues with himself
Calls himself names.
BOOM!
BANG!
CRASH!
It’s a war out there!
Pots and pans mix the progressive soup.
BOOM!
BANG!
CRASH!
It’ll be done, soon.
