You, me and the mind games we play

Gilded words and brazen shyness
These careful steps we take
It's puzzling, your random aloofness
I don't know how long more I can wait.

How long be these mind games you play?
I need to know if I should go or stay.

We live each day in proximity
Yet my love is in anonymity
I wonder when will the reprieve come
And if it hurts, would I still be numb?

Good job at summing up the true story of the games we all play. Good read. Good work.

Good piece. There is a lot of the writer’s emotion or maybe you’re trying to present someone else’s situation. Whomever is the person feeling the emotions in your piece it is written as is. Your piece is very easy to follow and everything is made clear.
