The Christian in me reveres the 6th Commandment.
Thou shall not kill.
The Muslim in me is moved the 3rd Pillar of Islam.
Be charitable and give alms, even to the wayfarer.
The Buddhist in me is awed by the 2nd Noble Truth.
Suffering has a cause: craving and attachment.
I think, “Which of these is the word of God?”
I think, “Which of these is not the word of God?”
The atheist in me springs up and throws all
of these thoughts into a heap of guilty feelings.
A Seinfeld rerun comes on the T.V. and I’m sucked in.

Every line until the 10th I felt is very strong and could stand as a piece in itself.
After that, I'm not so sure I'm getting the right feel of what you are saying maybe because I can't remember that episode right now... hehe.. you have to help me with this one Andy... email me!
