Life's Frequency

I must have tuned into the wrong frequency on life's radio,
As the signals you were sending out to me,
Were not playing the songs I wanted to hear.

I must have scanned through the wrong channels on life's tv,
As the pictures that you were broadcasting to me,
Were not showing the programmes I wanted to see.

I must have read through the wrong pages in life's book,
As the pages that had been written,
Were not showing the lines of this love story, I wanted to read.

I must not have life's correct frequency,
Because if I did,
I'd be tuned into you, and you would be tuned into me!
